Potato Fry

2 Tbsp Oil
1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds

2 Tsp Split Urad Dal


6 Cups Potatoes, Chopped
2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
2 Tsp Coriander Powder (I used only 1 and 1/4 Tsp, that's all I had)
1 and 1/2 Tsp Salt

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it starts splutter, add urad dal and fry till the color of the dal changes.


Add potatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Fry in LOW flame, CLOSE the pan and cook for 15 minutes.

1/4 Cup Water

If its not cooked in 15 minutes, add water, mix well, CLOSE the pan and cook in 5 minute intervals in LOW flame.
