Chow Chow Raitha


2 Tbsp Coconut or Cashew Nut
2 Green Chilies
1/4 Cup Water

Grind cashew nuts, green chilies and water to fine paste in magic bullet.


1 Tsp Olive Oil
3 Cups Grated Chow Chow (2 Chayote Squash), Peel and Grate using Big Grater
1/2 Tsp Salt


Heat oil in a pan, add squash and salt, fry for 7 and 1/2 minutes in high, take it out and allow it to cool.


32 Oz Box Plain Low-Fat Yogurt
1 Tsp Salt


Mix yogurt and salt. Once the cooked squash is cooled, add it to the yogurt along with ground mixture.

1 Tsp Olive Oil
1 Tsp Urad Dal
1/8 Tsp Asafoetida
1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds

 Heat oil in a small pan, add urad dal and asafoetida, fry till the color of the dal changes, add mustard seeds, once it starts to splutter, take it out and add it to yogurt and mix well.

2 Tbsp Cilantro, Chopped

Garnish with chopped cilantro.
