Sinqua Poriyal

1 Tbsp oil
1/2 Tsp mustard seeds
1/2 Tbsp Urad dal
1/2 Tbsp Chana  dal
1/2 Big onion, Chopped
3 Green Chillies, Chopped into 2 Lengthwise Pieces
11 Curry leaves


3 Large Sinqua (7 Cups Chopped Sinqua)


1 and 1/4 Tsp salt
3/4 Tsp Chili Powder

Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal and channa dal and fry till dals changes color, add mustard seeds, when it starts to splutter, add onion, green chilies, fry till the color of the onion changes, add curry leaves and saute for few seconds. Add sinqua, salt and chili powder, mix well, close the pan and cook in medium flame for 10 minutes. DO NOT ADD WATER, sinqua itself has lot of water. Increase the heat to high and cook for 5 more minutes in high flame.
