Sesame Quinoa

2 Cups Quinoa

Wash Quinoa, add water and allow it to boil. Once its starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium, add Salt and allow it to cook for 18 minutes. Allow it to cool.

1 Tsp Oil
6 Red Chilies
2 Tsp Urad Dal

Roast red chilies and urad dal in oil. Take it out.

5 Tsp Black or White Sesame Seeds

Roast the sesame seeds in the same pot until it pops. When it started popping, turn the flame to low and keep stirring. When the popping stops, stop the roasting as well.

Once its cooled, coarsely grind red chilies and urad dal. Then add sesame seeds and grind it to a coarse powder.

2 Tsp Oil
1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Tbsp Urad Dal
11 Curry Leaves
1 Tsp Salt

Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal and dry till the color of the dal changes, add mustard seeds, once it starts popping, add curry leaves, saute for few seconds, add salt, mix well and take it out.

Add the tempered items and powdered item to the quinoa and mix gently.
