Millet Dosai (Kambu Dosai)


4 Cups Millet ( 2 and 1/2 Cups - I used 500 gms Indian Pearl Millet)
1 Cup Urad Dal ( 1/2 Cup + 2 Tbsp )
1 Tbsp Fenugreek Seeds ( 1/2 Tbsp )


Wash and Overnight soak millet, urad dal and fenugreek seeds together.


5 Red Chilies (4)
? Tsp Cumin Seeds (1 Tsp)
? Tsp Asafoetida (1/8 Tsp)
1 Sprig Curry Leaves


Grind red chilies, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves in magic bullet.


Wash the soaked millet, urad dal and fenugreek seeds and grind in grinder along with the spice paste from magic bullet for 30 minutes.

Ferment the batter for 24 hours.


2 Tbsp Salt (1 Tbsp Salt)


Mix with salt and enough water and make dosa.


Yields: so far 24 Dosas
