2 Tbsp Oil
1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp Urad Dal
1 Tsp Channa Dal
1 Cup Onion, Chopped into Lengthwise Pieces
6 Green Chilies, Chopped into 2 Lengthwise Pieces
1 Sprig Curry Leaves
1 Tsp Ginger, Grated
1 Cup Tomato, Chopped
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Cups Kambu Rava
6 Cups Water
1 and 1/4 Tsp Salt
Heat oil in a pressure pan, add mustard seeds, when it starts to splutter, add cumin seeds, urad dal, channa dal, fry till the color of the dal changes.
Add onion, green chilies, curry leaves, grated ginger and fry for 2 minutes.
Add tomato, salt and fry for 3 more minutes.
Add kambu rava and fry for 2 minutes.
Add water, salt and mix well. Close the pressure pan and cook for 4 whistles.
Cilantro, Chopped
Once the pressure is release, open the cooker, mix well and garnish with cilantro.
Serve it with Cilantro or Mint Chutney.
